QI Projects
Clinical Audit
Conducting clinical audits across diverse health systems and with various teams has profoundly deepened my understanding of Quality Improvement (QI) methodologies and significantly refined my collaborative teamworking skills.

Sensible Use of IV & PO antibiotics
The unnecessary continuation of IV antibiotics in clinically stable inpatients is a drain on resources across England's acute Trusts. Prioritizing the IV-to-Oral switch is a high-impact measure that improves antimicrobial stewardship by reducing broad-spectrum antibiotic use, increases nursing capacity, drives earlier patient discharge to optimize bed flow, and delivers substantial reductions in both drug expenditure and the Trust's carbon footprint.
Quality Champion
As an RMO Quality Champion at Pun Hlaing Hospitals (Yoma-OUE Healthcare)—a hospital recognized with the prestigious Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation—I led the crucial presentation during the re-accreditation survey, directly contributing to the successful renewal of our commitment to global quality and patient safety standards.

Digital Transformation
I played a key role in the digital transformation project at a Taunggyi hospital. Serving as an EMR Super User, I trained colleagues on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and the functionality of E-Prescribing. I also mentored junior staff, highlighting the importance of using ICD codes to improve documentation and enhance patient care.
Updating Hospital Policy
I was privileged to assist in revising the hospital’s medication administrative policy, ensuring that all prescribing, ordering, and transcribing procedures were fully compliant with the new Electronic Health Record (EHR) and electronic prescribing standards.
